In October 2014 the Bard Boys started going to the open mic at MacBouche Tavern in St. Peters. The tourist season was over and visitors like Rob and I who returned to our "homes" for the winter would soon be on our way. It may have been that there were less musicians showing up for the open mic but we had an opportunity to play beyond a few tunes and one evening did a good half hour set. The audience of locals who showed up for these evenings was very enthusiastic and the place was always packed.
