Mountain Stage NewSong Festival

Tim performs in the NewSong Festival live contest round in August.

This is a terrific festival focused on songwriting and song writers. We must have seen 40 to 50 different performers in a single day. Most were singing their single best song in the contest rounds, others two songs at the contest finals, and others at the many shows staged throughout Shepherstown, WV. Camping in an open field during an all night thunder and lightning storm only added to the excitement.

Walk a Crooked Mile Books

August 12, 2006, 6:00 to 8:00 PM

We will be appearing in an outdoor concert at the Walk a Crooked Mile bookstore at the Mount Airy Train Station, 7423 Devon St., Philadelphia 19119.

This is a cool second-hand book store that sponsors summer concerts of local talent. Bring a chair, a picnic, and enjoy an evening of fine music with Elgie's Kitchen.

There is no raindate for this event so if it is too wet to sit outside, we will probably not be playing. Call for information at the bookstore: 215-242-0854.
